Catch Up Post
I know I haven't posted in a week, but it's been quite busy around here AND Bella has been sick. Poor sicky baby, doesn't this little pouty lip just break your heart???

Head First
I took Bella to the park yesterday after our walk around the lake, and she really had a good time. Usually Brian is with us when we go so one of us can be with her and the other is waiting at the bottom of the slide. Well, I didn't have the luxury of two extra hands, so she kept me running.
I sat her at the top of the slide and hopped down to catch her. I guess her shoes caught on the plastic and she ended up going down the slide head first (on her tummy) Superman style. I was at the bottom and when she got up she said "Whew!". I laughed so hard, and so did she. Now, she will ONLY go down a slide head-first and on her tummy.

Aiden's 1st Birthday Playdate
One of Bella's baby friends celebrated his first birthday with a playdate and cupcakes. She had a great time playing with all her friends and chowing down on cake. She was asleep in the car about 2 minutes after we pulled out of their driveway!
I managed to only get two pictures of her & Carson playing in Aiden's new car before my batteries died. I really want a new camera, but for now, I guess I should just invest in another set of rechargable batteries.
Anyway, Carson & Bella would take turns pulling each other out of the car, shut the door and then honk the horn. They even tried to compromise and both fit in the one seat. These two are the biggest of the kiddos, so that made it even funnier that they were squeezing in to this little car together.
Carson won this round...
BUT, she is determined to drive too!

Giddy Up Playtime
Santa (aka Gma & Gpa Macias) brought Bella a rocking horse for Christmas that makes galloping sounds and neighs. She has finally figured out a way to get up and down with very little help. It's definitely a rough mount & dismount, but she's getting there.
